“How on
earth do I walk toward that cottage without thinking I'm walking
towards that cottage?” Robert is perplexed. “And where are you
anyway? Why can't I see you?”
“I'm
nearby,” the voice tells him. “It's best if I'm not seen with
you yet. Like I said, stuff going down, major juju. But I can help
you get out of here.”
“I
appreciate the offer, but why should I trust you? I can't see you, I
don't know who you are, you haven't even told me your name.”
“I can't
give you a reason to trust me. Not a single one. But you wont get
out of here alone. And you can call me Tom.”
