Twixt the warp and the Weft is an experimental flash fiction serial. It began with the challenge to tell a story in one hundred chapters, each one hundred words long, over the course of one hundred days.
Silly thing to do, I know, but it popped into my head and I'm prone to doing the silly things that pop into my head. Especially if it's for a friend, which this was. And I did it.¹
But the story didn't stop just because I'd reached the limit. It kept growing, keeps growing, demands to be told.
So here you have it. A flash fiction serial² with a new chapter every day. It'd broken down into Episodes (each 100 chapters long) and some associated Interludes. The rigid word count has was discarded after the first episode concluded. Silly I may be, but I'm not a masochist.
There'll be a new chapter here everyday until this story is done with me. You can come here to read it, or stick your email address in that box over there and it'll find its way to you.
Twixt the Warp and the Weft is free, though I may try and sell you other things as time goes by.
If you're new here, you can download the entire one hundred chapters of the first episode, and the interlude that followed it by clicking here.
Reactions so far: Jim Moon (@Hypnogoria) called it "marvellous" and reviewed it here.

Welcome along for the ride, I hope you enjoy it.
¹Mostly. It was only after finishing it I discovered that Open Office has a unique way of counting words that doesn't agree with how many words are there.
²Or maybe just a story told in micro-chapters.
³Yes, this page is a shameless plea for readers.
