Episode 1 - Chapter 47

I led Raven down the hall, into the study, and pointed at the modem. He crouched beside it, tapping and stroking the block of wood in his hands, while he muttered to himself. After a moment, something that looked like a root emerged from the top, and grew to a length of about three feet. Somehow, Raven managed to attach it to the modem, tapping and stroking the block as he did.

“That should do it,” he said, and tapped again.

The block in his hands suddenly sprouted many roots, then leaves and flowers. Raven cried out in pain.
