We heard Raven cry out, then a dull thud. We hurried through to the study.
Raven was prone on the carpet, with Dad kneeling over him. Beside them, a ball of flowers, roots and thorns, about the size of a football.
“What happened?” Mum asked. “Is he okay?”
Raven groaned. “Network failure,” he murmured before looking at me. “Don't just stand there lad, help me up.”
Dad and I helped him to his feet.
“What happened to your... device?” Mum asked.
“It connected to something in the Weave not the Warp, sent the bios mad.”
