The bulges moved, as they had before, taking on the features of a face.
“Tinkerer,” rumbled the nomad's voice, “We come with a warning!”
“Speak,” commanded Raven.
“The delirium we track has nested nearby. It gives all its attention to this place.”
“That's not good, is it?” asked Robert, panic creaking in.
“No,” Raven looked round the room, “Not good at all. Anything else?”
The nomad faltered, for a moment unsure of itself.
Raven scowled at it. “Well? Out with it.”
“We... we are not sure that it is a delirium!”
