“Mary...” Dad started, but Mum cut in.
“All this craziness started, and he came to help. He's done all he can to help. I wont allow us to abandon him now.”
“You'll do as I say,” commanded Raven, “Remember what I told you!” Turning to Fiona, gently touching her arm. “Has it always been inside you?” he asked softly.
She looked like a little girl when she answered. “All my life.”
