“Then somebody'll have to go and get her,” Dad said.
“Don't be so preposterous,” Oak admonished, “Things have gotten complicated enough.”
“Why not?” I asked. “Summon another agent, get them to bring her back.”
“There are strict limits and protocols when it comes to agents of the Forest entering the Weave, and no way to apply them to this scenario.”
“In what way?” inquired Dad.
“An agent must be invited, which is not the case here, or renounce allegiance to the Forest.”
“Then let one of us go,” Mum suggested.
