In a single, fluid movement the elevated dwarf moves to stand on just one of his companions, while the third lithely climbs up the other two to take position at the top. He produces a hat from nowhere which flows and grows, becoming the long coat and hood. In an instant, Strauss stands before her.
Before she can speak, the hat's coming off again and before she knows it, three little men stand before her once more.
