“It is true there are more apocalypses here than ever before. They built a church for themselves, the church of the forgotten ends.”
“And that, that's different too. Your kind are behaving more like people.”
“But that's what we are, don't you see? We are people.”
“And monsters and aliens and god knows what kind of creature. You're not people, you're ideas. Some good, maybe. Some bad, definitely. But all of this, it's just ideas.”
