“Fiona?” he blinks, as if blinded by the sight of her.
Before she can answer, Rose interrupts. “You must be Robert! Call me Rose.” She heads towards him, arm outstretched.
Robert blinks again, still staring at Fiona, which causes Rose to pause and take the scene in.
“Sorry,” she says. “No time for awkward feelings. Too much to do. May I come in? Thank you,” as she enters the house.
Fiona hurries after her. Robert begins to speak, but she cuts him short.
“Not now,” she whispers, touching his arm gently. “Too much to do.”
