“Are you sure about this?” Raven asks, but Robert's not
listening. He steps forward, dragging bird and midgets behind him,
absolutely certain he is doing the right thing.
His conviction is rewarded when foot meets solid ground, a ledge
sloping gently down the side of this newly arrived mountain.
“Have you still got that chalk?” he asks Raven as they both put
midgets on the ground.
Raven reaches into his pocket to produce said chalk.
“Then get us a door drawn, double quick,” Robert commands. “If
our giant can sit up, it might stand up. I for one wouldn't want to
be in the neighbourhood were that to happen.”
Raven quickly draws a door. “Where do you want to go?” he asks.
“Anywhere but here,” Robert replies, “And can we try for
somewhere safe?”
