Brock takes a pen knife
from his pocket and uses the blade to scrape away at the edges of the
scuffed flag stone. Once the edges are clear of any remaining muck,
he eases the blade between the scuffed stone and its neighbour, using
the knife as a lever to lift it. A crack of light appears between
the two stones as he squeezes his fingertips under the stone then
drags it away from its bed. He's not at all surprised to find
there's a flight of concrete stairs leading down into a cave below.
Wasting no time, he descends quickly, arriving in a well lit cave
stretching into the distance. A quick glance at his block confirms
what he already knows: he's getting closer.
