Raven crouches by Fiona's body, speaking softly but with purpose and
conviction. “You're doing well,” he tells her unconscious body,
“Not far now. Just keep listening to my voice and follow it, it'll
bring you back to us.”
When he hears Edward gasp his eyes fly round the room, grasping at
every detail. He's not surprised to see Curly walk through the
living room door, looking more than a little lost and confused, but
his voice doesn't waver. “Wont be long now,” he continues,
“Just a few more steps.”
Mary, meanwhile, kneels beside her son, his body racked with mini
seizures as his mind returns to the Warp. “There, there,” she
says, as gently as she can while she rubs his back, “You've come
back to us, you're safe here. Just try to relax and breath.”
“Follow my voice,” Raven says evenly, “Everything will be fine,
just follow my voice.” With his hand he gestures at Curly,
summoning the midget to his side. He's more than aware that he's
lost track of Oak, so he wants the little fellow close at hand should
his colleague do anything inappropriate.
