It's become hard for Fiona to know if white light is appearing
through black, or the black is eating the white, but all around them
is furious chaos, as if the two were at war. The white noise has
begun to hurt her ears, while the low whine increases in pitch and
volume, climbing its way up the sonic spectrum, until it is oh so
sharp. She can see the bear is screaming in pain, but she can't hear
a thing over the high pitch noise. Fiona thinks her ears will bleed
or her head explode when it all just stops, snapping back to
darkness.
“The Lady Fiona and entourage,” an official sounding voice
announces.
