Third Interlude - Part Nine

“That's not one of the children,” Ms Firnley tells Fox. “That's a parent. They insisted they should all have log ins, so they can keep an eye on things. But they don't have profiles.”

She's barely finished speaking when there's a tap at the classroom door. Looking up, she sees an elderly gentleman looking impatiently at his pocket watch. He wears a vintage three piece pin stripe suit and a bowler hat, sporting whiskers from another century. In his other hand he holds a brief case, with a black umbrella hooked over his arm.

Fox is obviously taken aback. “B....b....b” she stutters, “Beech, what a pleasant surprise. I didn't expect to see you.”
