the prisonersh,” Rocknipples says quickly.
“They're not
prisoners,” the first voice replies, “Merely guests of the
prince.”
“Really?”
Stonedildo asks, “Cos I thought wiv all the chains and wotnot they
must be prisoners.”
“Right,”
Rocknipples agrees.
“A troll that
thinks,” the second voice says, “That could be dangerous.”
“Why were you
checking on our guests?” the first voice demands.
“We jusht thought...”
Rocknipples begins, but the voice cuts in.
“No, no, trolls don't
think. Not once since you've been here have I seen a troll show any
initiative whatsoever. React, yes. Trolls react to things
