“Now,” Fiona shouts, “It's pointing to twelve now.”
Raven turns back to Strauss. “Straight ahead,” he says, leaning
over the passenger seat, “Keep going straight ahead, that's where
we'll find our exit.”
“Er....guys?” Robert says behind him, staring out of the rear
window, “The pen is right behind us.”
“And you might like to dive it some welly,” Raven adds.
“There's a button here labelled boost,” Strauss tells
them, “Perhaps you should strap yourselves in.”
“It's getting closer,” Robert shouts.
“Get your wife's seat belt on,” Raven barks at him.
The tip of the pen is racing up behind them, almost close enough to
reach back and touch. Robert snaps Fiona's belt in place, then his
own. “Do it!” he shouts.
“Here we go,” Strauss says, and he pushes the button.
