“You think
I enjoyed it?” Raven responds angrily. “You think I like doing
the things I've done? You think I take pride in it? You confuse me
with the people I have to stop... or save. I told you, I go where I
must and do what needs doing. If I could do as I pleased I'd be sat
in a tree shouting my head off with others like me.”
“And yet
you go about your work with such gusto!”
“I do what
must be done,” Raven replies, calming himself.
“And that,
my dear Raven,”says the Angel, “is exactly why you're here now.
You do what must be done.”
