“This
Angel person says you know how to get to his court,” Fiona hears
Robert say to Raven. “Is it true.”
She hears
Raven's gruff response, but doesn't quite catch what he says.
“Well?”
she asks.
“Apparently
he does,” Robert replies. “We have some business to finish here,
then we'll come to you.”
“Okay,”
she says, “Be quick, love you.”
Just as
she hangs up she hears Raven demand “What business?”
“Unfinished
business,” she tells the Angel. “Seems there's a lot of that
about. Like you and your restricted information. Why couldn't you
tell me my husband was here in the Weave, me of all people?”
“There
is somebody....”the Angel pauses, “Somebody powerful.
Somebody.....”
He's
interrupted by the sound of a commotion behind one of the book
shelves. Moments later, Raven walks round, speaking to someone
behind him.
“I've
already told you lad,” he's saying, “They're not real.”
