“That sounds very ominous,” Robert quips.
“Don't worry man,” Tom replies, “It's nothing to worry about,
but the geography of the Weave isn't linear. Come on, I'll show you.
Go and open the door.”
Robert begins to walk the last few steps as Tom continues talking.
“You're expecting to open that door and walk into a cottage but the
Weave doesn't work like that. For a start, man, the cottage might
have no interior, because it doesn't need to. For the cage to work
you never see inside, yeah?”
“Okay,” Robert says, reaching for the door handle.
“So when you step through that door you're going to walk into
another part of the Weave!”
